Product Introduction
Suspension fittings are critical components in overhead transmission lines, designed to connect insulator strings to towers or other hardware. Typically made from high-strength aluminum alloys or forged steel, their primary function is to safely transfer the mechanical loads—such as those from conductors, ground wires, or optical cables—onto the supporting structure while maintaining the integrity of electrical insulation performance. Additionally, suspension fittings undergo corrosion-resistant treatments, such as hot-dip galvanizing, and boast exceptional tensile strength, outstanding fatigue resistance, as well as convenient and flexible installation features. As a result, they are widely used at suspension points on high-voltage transmission towers, within substation frameworks, and for securing ADSS optical cables.
