This standard redefines the safety performance of pre-twisted fittings and introduces stringent regulations on key indicators such as gripping force and mechanical strength. For instance, the gripping force of tension clamps must meet a specific percentage of the conductor's rated tensile breaking strength, significantly enhancing the safety level of overhead lines. Additionally, in response to complex environmental conditions, the standard sets forth even stricter requirements for structural design and material selection—particularly in areas prone to frequent lightning strikes, where enhanced lightning protection measures are mandatory; meanwhile, in high-altitude and low-temperature regions, materials used must demonstrate superior adaptability to temperature fluctuations.
